I used to create my own templates. Nowadays I use a dedicated software called simply Script Supervisor Software. It offers a series of databases in FileMaker that communicate with Final Draft. It allows a full import of the script into the Breakdown, it automatically introduces each scene heading into individual strips and it does a page count and a rough timing for each scene. The soft also offers templates for the Facing Page, the Conti DPR and an electronic Mark Up.
